It is a low-cost airline that was established in 2005. Arkefly is a subsidiary of German travel company TUI Group which altogether owns seven airlines and several tour operators all over Europe.

It offers short, medium and long-haul scheduled flights as well as charter services to various destinations such as the Mediterranean, Caribbean, North Africa and South America. Passengers can purchase on-board refreshments separately and take advantage of online check-in on its official website.
