LAN Airlines is based in Chile and operates flights from its main hub located in Santiago. LAN Airlines is the national airline of Chile and one of the largest in South America. LAN Airlines was founded as Línea Aeropostal Santiago-Arica 1929. At present it operates scheduled flights to many destinations in Latin America, the USA, Canada, the Caribbean, Oceania and Europe.
