Swiss International Air Lines
Swiss International Air Lines is based in Switzerland and operates flights from its main hubs located in Zurich, Geneva and Basel. The carrier is also known as Swiss and is the principal airline of Switzerland. It operates scheduled flights to many destinations in Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Asia. Swiss was founded in 2001 after Switzerland's former flag carrier Swissair's bankruptcy.
Swiss is a subsidiary of German Lufthansa and a Star Alliance member. It offers membership in its frequent-flyer program Miles & More and enables its passengers to check in online.
