Virgin Australia
Virgin Australia was founded in 2000 as Virgin Blue Airlines. It is an Australian low-cost airline with headquarters in Brisbane. Its main airports are located in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Virgin Australia operates both domestic and international flights mainly within Oceania and it has become the second biggest airline in Australia.
The airline has a special frequent flyer program named Velocity Frequent Flyer. Virgin Australia has three associated carriers – V Australia, Pacific Blue and Polynesian Blue which further enlarge the network of Virgin Australia's destinations.
The airline offers online check-in on its website. On-board refreshments and checked baggage allowance are not included in the ticket price.
