Who does not know the Luton-based low-cost airline easyJet? It is one of the largest no-frills carriers in Europe so it is more than likely you will fly with them sooner or later.
That is why in today's post we explain the check-in options offered by easyJet.
Online check-in
If you appreciate your time and convenience, why not check in online from the privacy of your own home? It is simple: click on the «check-in»-tab. Then enter your last name and booking reference and then press go. Next, you can print your boarding card. Web check-in is available from 30 days until 2 hours before the scheduled departure.
Once you checked in, you can go straight to the security at the airport. If you
travel with hold baggage, what you have to do is to drop it off at the
desk.
Check-in at the airport
You can check in at the airport as well. Remember to arrive on time because the check-in desks close 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time whereas the boarding gate closes 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. EasyJet recommends its passengers to be at the airport two hours before the take-off.
Another thing you have to remember is to have your ID card with you!
There is a special rule that applies to travellers departing from London Airport Gatwick whose flight is scheduled before 08:30. They can check in the night before from 20:00 on and leave the luggage at the airport.
