Emirates baggage allowance 2013 – a short summary

Emirates – cabin baggage
Passengers travelling with Emirates can carry one piece of hand baggage. Its dimensions should not exceed 55×38×20 cm. The maximum weight allowed is 7 kg. Those travelling with infants may take one more piece of baggage onboard and can also carry foldable pushchairs or buggies.
Duty-free purchases are allowed to take into cabin in reasonable quantities.
Emirates – free checked baggage allowance
The baggage policy of Emirates is very generous. Each passenger is allowed a bag weighing up to 30 kg for free. While flying to and from North and South America, the rules are different. For flights to and from North America, you are entitled to two bags, both weighing up to 23 kg. You are allowed two bags of 32 kg each while flying to and from South America.
If your flight is connecting or code share, your specific baggage allowance will appear on your ticket during booking.
