Tips to booking cheaper flights
Although there's no real shortcut to finding cheap airfare, we have some special tips that might at least save you some money at your next flight. Check them out and if you have others let us know in the comments!
Don't buy extras if you don't need them
Of course, some extras may be very tempting but think first before you ordered them. Do you really need priority boarding or more legroom?
Don't buy too early or too late
Even though some airlines offer early bird and last minute offers, generally we cannot say that there is some specific universal time where to book every route. E.g. flights operated by low-cost airlines are cheapest 5–7 weeks before departure, but if you see some cool airfare deals earlier, don't wait and buy!
If you don't need to travel on specific days (e.g. because some business trip), try to search more days in week (usually weekends are more expensive, Tuesday or Thursday cheaper) and avoid holidays. Also, check whether early morning flight is not cheaper than flight departing in the afternoon.
Try mixing airlines
Did you know that you can save some money when you choose a different airlines for your flight there and back? Try to compare such results next time you will search for your flight. We have this option at WhichAirline!
