Travelling with low-cost easyJet soon? Not sure what you can take with you for free? Are there any fees for cabin bag? Read on and get the latest information on easyJet's baggage allowance.
easyJet: cabin baggage allowance 2014
Low cost airline easyJet has two types of cabin baggage: so called „guaranteed baggage“ with dimensions of 50×40×20cm, which you can always take on board, and the second „normal“ type which is slightly larger, 56×45×25cm, and on some busy flights it may be taken into the hold (passengers are not charged for this). easyJet allows you to take only one piece of cabin baggage which must contains all the stuff you want to take onboard – you can't take an extra laptop case or handbag.
No weight restriction applies as long as you can place your cabin bag safely in the overhead lockers without assistance. All details about cabin baggage can be found here.
easyJet: checked baggage allowance 2014
easyJet charges an additional fee of €13 – €25 to all passengers travelling with their checked baggage. The minimum weight you can buy is 20 kg. The cheapest and easiest way to buy additional weight for your hold luggage is online when booking your flight, or later via Manage booking. If you pay for excess weight at the airport, you will have to pay more as it is more expensive.
