
The World's Top 10 airlines for 2010 are now announced. More than 17.9 million travellers from over 100 nationalities took part in the 10 month survey (from July 2009 until April 2010). The awards are respected and recognised around the world for being the only truly global, independent passenger survey of airline standards.
And the winner is … Asiana Airlines
Asiana Airlines won the prestige Airline of the Year award at the 2010 World Airline Awards. The second place bolongs to Singapore Airlines, the third place was taken by Qatar Airways. Over 40 airlines from around the world assembled at the World Airline Awards in Hamburg to receive their accolades.
The Skytrax Study measures total customer satisfaction based on performance in eight separate measures: value for money, cabin service, cabin comfort, inflight entertainment, boarding / deplaning, onboard catering, check-in service and baggage service.
